Most of the new baby clothes have been washed and are just waiting for sweet little bodies to fill them.
We have one crib ready to go, which the boys will share to begin with, as well as most of the essential nursery items. Being new to all of this I'm sure we will figure out other must haves as we go along.

33 Weeks and Counting
We had another ultrasound at 33 weeks on November 16th to check the babies' sizes. We were hoping they would be around four pounds each, but instead we were surprised to find they had grown to 4.8 and 4.65 pounds, putting them at the 70 and 65 percentile, respectively! If we do make it to 37 weeks it is very likely they will be average size babies, rather than premie size as most twins are. And Baby B is no longer breech; both babies are head down with all of their feet under my left lung. I often need to rub that area to remove the sharp pinch from a foot jabbing into my lung. :-)
Another fun thing is both boys frequently have the hiccups. Apparently this is very common and feels like a rhythmic pattern of moves in the same spot, but too slow for a heartbeat. Technically the boys could come at any time (and Mom is ready as I'm getting very large and uncomfortable), but we are taking it day by day hoping they will stay put until around December 18th.

Six Weeks to Go
We had our 31 week visit with Dr. Ottman on Friday, and Sandy is now measuring at 42 weeks, or beyond full term for a single baby. Everything looks good, and the doctor thinks we will make it to December for delivery. The babies heart beats are 144 and 141, and they are moving quite a bit. However Dr. Ottman told us they likely will not change positions before birth. So one is still stretched out head down on the left side and the other is bottom down on the right side. We will have another ultrasound in two weeks to again measure the boys' size.
