The First Sounds From Our Babies

We had a followup visit with Dr. Ottman on July 27th at 17 weeks, and Dave tried his hardest to convince her to do another ultrasound. Instead we got to hear our babies heartbeats for the first time! Baby A (little Dave) was moving around quite a bit, and his heart rate was 163 beats per minute. Baby B (Sam) was hiding then kicked Dr. Ottman at having her space invaded. Her heart rate was 156 beats per minute. Anything between 110 and 180 is normal. They both sounded wonderful to us!
