The No-Help Desk

Occasionally the boys will visit mommy in her office while she’s working. They, of course, are very curious about what she is doing, and they want to do it too. If she holds a boy in her lap and turns her chair towards the desk, he will immediately lean forward to pound her computer keyboard or move her mouse. This is not helpful and can create mayhem of her work files. If her screensaver activates, they will see pictures of themselves appear on her computer screens. This always energizes them and they’ll respond by beating on her keyboard to generate more pictures. One boy in this situation is hard enough to handle, but on this day she had them both sitting on her lap “helping her”.
