Merry Christmas from Benji and Davey

Sandy remembered Kansas City hospitals sending December babies home in Christmas stockings so we've been talking about staging this photo practically from the moment we found out we were expecting. Grandmother Karen found these perfectly themed stockings for the event. The boys arrived early and were ready to go, so all we had to do was slide them in the stockings and snap the picture right? Well, nobody told the babies. They squirmed and flopped around on the bed like freshly caught fish. Their arms flailed, their head tossed side to side, their legs stretched, knees bent, faces cried and eyes simply wouldn't open. Thank goodness for digital camera capacities because we snapped dozens of photos trying to capture a good pose from these two squirming fish. Finally Mama raised their heads, tucked their arms down and turned off the lights. Dad snapped this shot, but not before Benji could raise an arm of greeting.
