Last night we went out to eat with our friend LaDonna Taylor. During after dinner conversation, she held Benji while Trey sat in Daddy Dave’s lap. We noticed at one point that the boys were intently looking at one another. Previously neither boy had particularly acknowledged the other’s presence. Likely, their recent brain growth and accompanying eyesight development has contributed to this new brotherly discovery. We sat them on the table toe to toe and watched as they engaged gestures and gibberish. Soon they’ll be developing that special language that only twins understand.
