Granddaddy David was born in a small farmhouse without electricity or plumbing. His earliest memories are of the family gathering after dinner and everyone singing together. Today, he loves to sit his grandsons on his chest and sing them those same depression-era songs and ol’ time hymns. The boys love the sound of his rich bass voice, and often a fussy child is quickly transformed into a peacefully sleeping angel after just a few folk songs. Before we know it, the twins will be singing along with him.
