Blue and Gold Banquet

Tonight we attended the boys first Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet. The Boy Scouts of America organization was founded on February 8, 1910 and this dinner is held annually to celebrate that anniversary.  Sandy was a very accomplished Girl Scout and really looked forward to boys becoming involved in scouting. In addition to the considerable work done in their weekly Den 10 scout meetings lead by their scout leader Pat Bowlds, Sandy has worked with the boys at home to earn goal after goal. Davey and Benji were honored tonight with the presentations of both their Bobcat and Tiger Cub badges plus a whole passel beads and discs to hang on their uniform.
