AnnaKaye Roberts is four years old, and the only thing she wanted for Christmas this year was twins. “Not baby doll twins,” she told her mother, “but real twin babies like Sandy’s.” AnnaKaye’s family lives next door and they are terrific neighbors. After hearing that we were expecting, Karen Roberts said her daughter decided she wanted twins too. “That’s a tall order to fill” Karen laughed. Just after delivery, the Roberts family was on the list of people I called with the big news. I could hear AnnaKaye and her brother Zackary squeal with delight after learning the news. We shared dinner at their house recently, and Anna Kay was fascinated with the boys. One day soon she’ll be the cute older girl next door that will fascinate our boys.

Already flirting with the girl next door
