Little Red Wagon voted readers’ favorite
Our blog readers voted little red wagons as their favorite baby transportation. Little red wagons were first built in 1917 by Italian immigrant Antonio Pasin. He began fashioning wooden wagons by night and selling them during the day. His company grew in the roaring twenties and continued to prosper despite the great depression. Modeling the automotive industry, Pasin began using mass-production techniques and metal-stamping technology to produce steel wagons, "For every boy. For every girl." Even in tough times parents dreamed of a better life for their children, and continued to demand the basic value that Radio Flyer delivered. This allowed Pasin’s company to become the world's largest producer of toy coaster wagons.
