The night after we returned from Florida we went to Jack Hicks’ Field to see the first round of the boys’ regional high school baseball tournament. The Owensboro Red Devils played the Daviess County Panthers. Our next door neighbor, Jacob Roberts, is a phenomenal athlete. Just in the 8th grade, he is already the starting shortstop for the OHS varsity baseball team. He will surely be a star of the future. We felt this was a good opportunity for the twins to attend their first sporting event. Maybe when Jacob plays in the major league they’ll be able to say they have been following his career all their lives.

Their First Baseball Game
