Happy Boys

These smiles are brought to you by Italian food. I studied our genealogy back a dozen generations in every direction and have found no Italian blood anywhere, but this family just loves Italian food. When one looks at the popularity of this ethnic food they will find that we are not unique in this affinity. And to think this cultural phenomenon is relatively new to this region.  My great grandparents probably never had a pizza or plate of spaghetti. Tonight we are dining in Pizzaroma, a local eatery established in 1963. It was one of the first pizza parlors in Owensboro and still among the best. When we count our blessings, Italian food is on that list.
